In the qualifying rounds of Regional play, the Crimson Tide ran away in their respective bracket and semi-final game. However In an outstanding dramatic come from behind victory against a returning Region I Champion from the state of New York, the New Jersey Representative, Crimson Tide captured the Region I Title and moved on to compete at the National Level.
In the final, after falling behind 0-1 in minute 12, the Crimson Tide played extremely nervous and could not connect passes. As the 2H started, the team settled down, displayed great poise and was well organized in the defense, midfield and attack. With 8 minutes left in regulation time the game was tied 1-1. Additional scoring opportunities were created, but the opposing goalie was just superb that lead the game to be pushed into overtime. In OT play, the Crimson Tide's physical preparation and hydration paid off as the young ladies displayed better conditioning than their opponent. Finally, in the 2H of OT play, the Crimson Tide found the net and sealed the game 2-1.
