Thank you to Howard Collmar who has grown and improved this program over the four years since we have been here.Thank you to Mandi Payne who works tirelessly to make things run and for her patience with our children as well as us parents. None of this would be possible without You and your family,s willingness to give so much of yourselves. Thank you to all of the parents who stepped up this year to do what needed to be done and tHank you for the friendships we have formed along the way. Thank you to all of the coaches who sparked a dream in pogo And thank you to the coaches who over the past two years have helped that dream soar !! Coach Melton, Coach Black, Coach Courtney and Coach Mixter, YOU GUYS ARE THE BOMB !!! WE LOVE YOU !!! There are literally thousands of kids that would love to have been in the position you put yourselves in. You done this through hardwork, dedication and commitment. These are lessons that you can draw on for the rest of your lives. You will always be able to say that you played for the two best coaches in POP Warner. Coach Black is a guy that my son played for years ago. He is truly an excellent X's and O's guy that demands "PERFECTION"! You have learned this from the best Defensive Coach around. Coach Black may do a little (lot) of yelling and screaming but if you needed him he will be there. What can I say? Coach Melton is THE Best Leader I have ever been associated with, PERIOD! He is a brother to me and always will be. Each of you should take the traits that Coach Melton teaches and cement them as a part of your life! Dedication, Pride, total commitment and a keen sense of pride. You will never be associated with a leader that puts more time and effort into everything he commits to. I will guarantee you, you received 100% from these guys! I sat back this year and read the papers and all the sites, knowing you were in the hands of the two best in the business. I missed you all tremendously! Congratulations on a great season. Keep your eyes up and your butts down! The 2007 Jags are and will always be CHAMPIONS! Love you guys! |

Yet a loss in the championship game you fought to the end with pride,dignity and the HEART of a champion. Millions of young men in this nation would love to be in your shoes. a hard pill to swallow but you made it to the title game. I am so very proud of you guys. You are to small, no speed etc, etc, etc, you have heard it all but you proved everybody in the United States that you would not go down without a fight. Thank you for letting me be a part of something special. I had a great birthday present, being with my children Rusty, Ethan and Jordan, I love you very much, and being with my Union Road family which I love you very much also. Thanks for all the memories. This is not the end it is just the beginning. Coach Black you are one of the most amazing coach and person i have ever met,Love you much. Coach Courtney and Coach Justin you guys came on board and did a wonderful job also, thank you for what you did for these kids. Love you guys also. An organazation is made out of what type leader it has. Howard Collmar is Union Road and what it represents: Discipline, tough, heart, and Winners. Without you Howard Union Road is an average organazation. Thank You for everything you have done, first for our kids, parents, coaches and for myself. You are truly a great leader (except when you are on my sideline giving me a hard time) just kidding. Much love to our fearless leader. Coaches never get any credit but yet all the blame and i accept all responsibility, so when you see all of our coaches from pee wee to tiny mites let them know you appreciate the time they have spent teaching these kids. Want to congradulate the team and coaches for getting as far as they did. To the team keep your heads held high and dont be down on yourself. You have a lot to be proud of. We are proud of you. See you when you return home. |
