November 4, 2007 9:16:30 PM Entry ID: 1249218 | Indians Parent November 4, 2007 8:15:43 PM Entry ID: 1249130 Some intersting info I found in a Football forum about the UNION ROAD JAGUARS....."coach melton and black have fine tuned a system that is on a high school level scheme wise. the offenses run in our conference are not up to stoping a defense that plays a base 4-3 with stunts by the sam and mike linebackers. we do not see a cover 2 out of most teams. most of us play man to man and try to shut down outside. to stop ur you must take away the fullback, wall blocking or zone hinge blocking and understand how to shut down a running attack that hides the ball and overpowers you with traps and pulling lineman. if you do not have linebackers that can rip and run and read then you are a step behind at the snap." |

Way to go Midget and Jr. Pee Wee cheerleaders on advancing to Regionals and taking 1st. place in your divisions. To our little Might Mite and Tiny Mite girls...you looked great too. Way to support each other and show your JAG spirit!!! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU ALL!!! As a new family in the JAG organization we would like to thank everybody for making our transition from Pittsburgh to Union Rd. a positive experience. WE ARE NOW TRUE JAGUARS!!!! By the way, how about all parents stand up and cheer for the teams. From now on it is going to be very important for the Jr. Pee Wee's and Pee Wee's. Last year everyone talked about the enthusiasm of the Jr. Pee Wee fans everywhere we went and it really made a different to our guys out there on the field.
