Une belle revanche pour les Stallions
A nice payback by the Stallions

La traduction est en cours.
The very first game that the midget team ever played, in 2005, was against St-Bruno and they end up losing 24-13 at home. This year, going to St-Bruno to play the eighth game of the season, the players and the coaches wanted to even the score and they accomplished it by beating the Barons 24-7.

The game started on a very promising note as the defense forced a turnover on the Barons` first possession after Adam David sacked the QB who fumbled the ball and J.-F. Pilon recovered it. However, Stallions could not get a first down and were forced to punt.

Barons took advantage of the opportunity and they scored the first points of the game by moving the ball 78 yards on 11 plays. However, that seemed to spark the Stallions and they scored all the points from then on.
First, they responded right away and tied the game 7-7 on a 5-yard run by Chris McCarthy that was set up by a 65-yard catch-and-run play by Charles-Olivier Conway.
They went ahead 10-7 on the last play of the first half thanks to a 21-yard field goal by Justin McLean. On that possession Stallions got the ball after an interception by J.-F. Ménard on his own 20-yard line.

In the second half the offense gave the team a little bit more breathing room by adding two more TDs.
First, on a 5-yard catch by Justin McLean and then on a 4-yard run by Frédèrik Pominville.
The closest that the Barons would come to the Stallions` end zone was the 27-yard line thanks in part to another sack by Adam David and an interception by Vincent Duquette. Gabriel Cyr, Jordan Jasiukajc, Scott Betz and Andrew Palmer led the team in tackles.

On offense, Julian Bailey had a great game with four catches for 112 yards, Conway with three catches for 88 yards and McLean with three catches for 65 yards. Maxim Bourgon completed 11 passes out of 25 for 268 yards and one interception.

Gabriel Cyr was chosen by the coaches as the player of the game.
