SHAQ Progressive Discipline Policy

Swimmers will follow a 3 strike rule.  When a swimmer purposely exhibits negative behavior or defies the authority of a staff member, they will be issued a strike.  When the swimmer is issued his/her third strike in a practice or meet session the following occurs.

First Offense:  Suspension from practice for one session.

Second Offense:  Suspension from practice for one week.

Third Offense:  Suspension from practice for one week and the next meet or invitational swimmer entered.

Fourth Offense:  One month suspension of all practices and meets or invitationals.

Fifth Offense:  Expulsion from South Hills Aquatics.

Parents will be contacted and informed of all infractions and be required to view and sign proper documentation.
