Whatever it is, he's not a Marlin anymore, so he's just a memory. We move on without him. We won a championship WITHOUT him, and we can win another WITHOUT him. Rich, Josh, Mickey, Jeff, Steven, etc. and all the longtime Marlins are a bunch of great guys and I don't think they are the issue. Howell had to pay us money for the uniforms we went out and bought for him in order for us to give him a release. He dragged everything out until a couple games into the season and then dropped on us he wanted to play with the Brewers. I honestly think he was more worried about having 2-3 catchers on the Marlins that have some pretty good skills but that's just how it looked to me (and for the record he wasn't the first Marlins catcher the Brewers tried to steal). I don't have the credentials of someone like Peter Gammons or Buster Olney that's just how most Marlins see it. We wish Craig and the Brewers all the luck this season. Actually we don't wish them luck because I think they've had enough of it recently. Go Marlins!!! |

If it happens that will give them a shot at 6 wins and going from the two worst teams to the second worst team in the league. This would be a huge improvement. But beware Diamondbacks, Mets aren't available to play on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or 8pm,3pm or 7pm on Sundays. Unless of course you throw them in a meaningless tournament of crappy teams, then they will make themselve available for first round elimination. |
