KILDONAN CAVALIERS 2019
Kildonan lose 8th straight-Will compete in D3 for 2020
Mathematically Kildonan could avoid relegation if they won against Luso and Dunvegan failed to get no more then 1 point in their last two matches.
However, it wasn't to be as Kildonan's 8th straight loss confirmed relegation to D3 for 2020, a division they were last in back in 2011.
Half point of the season
Kildonan look to bounce back from their close defeat to Scotia United in the Bison cup when they take on United Weston on Wednesday at Buhler park.
Their first meeting ended in a 1-0 win for the Cavs, and Weston currently sit in last place of the 9 team division.
Kick off is 7:30 pm.
Kildonan suffer 2nd defeat
Kildonan were unlucky to lose their 2nd game of the season to Galaticos. Having been reduced to 10 men for over 70 minutes, they did take the lead from a great pass from Matty, who put the ball into space for Morgan who turned around the moving ball and struck a low, hard shot past the keeper.
Galaticos tied it up and the Cavs were holding on for a tie when Jimmy was judged to foul a player in the box and an penalty kick was awarded to Galaticos. Phil couldn't keep out the 2 attempts and the constant pressure for 20 minutes didn't produce a tying goal.
Next Match: Kildonan's Bison Cup game has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, June 25th, 7:30 pm at Buhler Park. Prior to that, Kildonan will take on Dunvegan Castle on Tuesday the 18th at Buhler park, 730 pm kick off.
Cavs make it 3 in a row
Kildonan made it 3 in a row in a hard tackling game against Selkirk FC. Matt L added his 3rd of the season and Phil came up big to stop a penalty shot in the 70th minute.
Next up is AC Fiorentina at the Complex on Friday June 7th.
Kildonan make it 4 in a row
Despite the heat and going down 2-1 in the first 15 minutes, Kildonan stayed focused and answered back with 5 goals to beat AC Fiorentina 6-2 at the Complex tonight.
Next up is Galaticos on June 12, 8pm at the Complex.

After finishing pre-season with a 1-1-1 record, Kildonan kicks off the season on Thursday, May 2nd against WASPS F.C.
The Cavs will be joined by a few new faces this year. Joining the team:

Cavs moving to D1 for 2018
The deal is done!, The Cavs will be participating in Division 1 for the 2018 season after reaching an agreement with the owner of Germania FC, who decided they were no longer going to put a team into the league.
The season looks to start off May 1st so the Cavs will continue to prepare for the outdoor season by practicing indoors, and to book some exhibition games in preparation.
The Cavs are also excited to announce their first sponsor, Custom Castings, for the 2018 season. Custom Castings support will help defer the costs for the players for the upcoming season.
2019 Schedule announced
The 2019 schedule has been released and the Cavs kick off the season against fellow relegated D1 opposition, Wasps FC for their first game on May 2nd.
They will then take on newly promoted from D3, United Weston on May 14th, and then May 22nd face off against United Nova.
Kildonan is working on getting some exhibition games prior to the start of the season..
